Anthony graduated in 2013 from the University of Cambridge with degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Zoology. He spent two years working in small animal first opinion clinical practice in Birmingham. In 2015 he sought an opportunity to diversify his career and spent the next two years as Parliamentary Veterinary Intern in the House of Lords providing both research and administrative support to veterinary Peer Lord Trees. He also worked as a clinical wildlife vet for the Wildlife Aid Foundation. He is the British Veterinary Association’s regional representative for London as well as a Council member of the Association of Government Veterinarians and Central Veterinary Society. He is now works as a Senior Veterinary Inspector for the Animal and Plant Health Agency. Anthony is interested in policy making and in promoting the roles of veterinarians in society particularly in relation to animal welfare, environmental sustainability and One Health.
