As a Mobile Vet with Vetkind, your 'consulting room' will be the heart of our clients' homes. You will have the time and autonomy to deliver the high standard of care you've always strived for.

The ideal candidate is a confident and caring individual who thrives on building relationships and is passionate about animal welfare.
You should have:
- RCVS membership and the right to work in the UK.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in small animal practice.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a naturally empathetic approach.
- The ability to work confidently in a sole-charge capacity while on the road.
- A genuine desire to practice veterinary medicine in a more personal, low-stress environment.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough, unhurried consultations for a wide range of preventative and first-opinion cases.
- Providing compassionate end-of-life care and owner support.
- Building genuine, trusting relationships with a dedicated client base.
- Working independently while being a key part of a supportive and collaborative team.
- We provide veterinary care for a local cat shelter and all members of staff are involved in this.
- We have a surgical base where we perform surgeries 1-2 times a week, although this could be a consulting only role if preferred.
Salary
- Base salary depends on experience but in the region of 42-45K.
- Company car or a monthly car allowance which adds up to around 2.5K a year, depending on days worked
- Mileage paid
Working hours/ patterns
- Hours are flexible but include a Friday and 1:5 Saturday mornings.
- Most vets do between 3-4 days but full-time hours will be considered
- No out-of-hours (OOH) or on-call duties. We believe your time off is yours to enjoy.
