Laura qualified from the RVC in 2005 and worked in equine and mixed practice until joining Brooke in 2012. She began working as a veterinary trainer for Brooke running workshops in clinical skills in many different countries and many less than perfect circumstances including some memorable flooding in Northern India.
In 2013 she developed a training of trainers course to help vets educate both other veterinary professionals, and the owners of working equids. She has since moved into several other roles within Brooke as part of the Global Animal Health team. She also continues to maintain her own clinical skills by locuming as a small animal vet and looking after a vast menagerie of her own animals.
