Based near Mold in North Wales. The role includes travel to clients in a 1.5-hour radius of the practice. A work vehicle is provided for these journeys, and you get to drive through some spectacular countryside around Snowdonia.

We are a practice specialising in Equine Dentistry that was formed in 2015 by Andy Peffers; a vet of 20 years experience, who is a member of BAEDT and has Cert AVP in Equine Dentistry.

Organisation aims & mission

To provide high-quality equine dentistry in a compassionate and caring environment.

The role will initially be to provide routine equine dental examinations and rasping to our equine patients. 

Training will be given to progress to more advanced procedures such as restorations, extractions etc. 

There is a possibility to buy into/ take over the running of the practice in the next 2-4 years.

Advanced Practitioner in Equine Dentistry

We are looking for a caring and compassionate person with an interest in equine dentistry. You don’t have to be highly qualified as long as you are interested in equine dentistry and are willing to learn. 

You will mostly be working independently but support is available from Andy. 

  • Salary: £45,000–£50,000 FTE (depending on experience), pro rata for 19 hours per week.
  • Hours: Part-time, 19 hours per week 

Based near Mold in North Wales. 

The role involves travel to clients within a 1.5 hour radius of the practice. 

A work vehicle is provided for these journeys and you get to drive through some spectacular countryside around Snowdonia. 

We would love candidates to come and have a look at the practice and come in for an interview. 

We will be hosting interviews in the first couple of weeks of November. 

There is some flexibility around which 2 days you will work. 

  • Paid lunch hour
  • No out-of-hours 
  • No on-call. 
  • The typical day is 9am-6.30pm.
