Broadreach Adventures, LLC leads immersive, hands-on programs for students where they explore new cultures, earn academic credits and observe local professionals.
Families who become part of the Broadreach community will not only see these values embodied in our team in Raleigh, N.C., but in our summer instructors and, most importantly, our students.

  • Passion- We love what we do, and combine hard work with fun in our day-to-day.
  • Curiosity - We love learning and value hands-on discovery (of anything and everything!).
  • Intention - We create thoughtfully designed experiences based on years of experience. We are knowledgeable about the industry and run programs with professionalism and confidence.
  • Resilience - We know challenges help us learn, adapt and build confidence to face new situations. We bounce back.
  • Courage- We experiment, take risks and are brave. We aren’t afraid to be who we are.
  • Support - We care about our people. We love working together to create stellar experiences from a place of empathy.
Our staff will mentor and support students while sharing more about career paths in veterinary medicine and igniting a passion for pursuing careers in an animal profession. Our staff truly have an impact on students considering pursuing veterinary medicine, and their passion for animal care.

Our ideal staff member is passionate about youth mentoring, travel and conservation. They will enthusiastically lead lectures while also building connections with students outside of a classroom setting. They are positive, flexible team players who will create a safe and fun environment for students. A DVM or Master's degree is required, and ideally, a candidate would be able to speak to the process of applying for vet school in the US.
Broadreach is committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. We celebrate differences in age, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and other characteristics that help broaden our perspectives. It is our aim, that all our staff, students and partners reflect and embrace these values.
Students work directly with biologists and researchers to understand protected wildlife and habitats. All trips incorporate elements of responsible travel and respect for local ecosystems.

Programs like the Costa Rica trip are specifically designed to teach sustainable travel practices and cultural understanding.
Our staff will attend a week-long training on managing group dynamics and facilitating impactful youth programs.
Broadreach animal science summer programs give teens hands-on experience working with animals in real-world settings.

Designed for middle- and high-school students, these programs explore animal care, behaviour, welfare and conservation through immersive experiences — from farms and wildlife centres to marine and conservation environments around the world.
Broadreach is certified as a B Corporation company.
