Organisational background
The British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) was founded over 60 years ago to facilitate the sharing of knowledge amongst members of the small animal profession. The thirst for knowledge in the profession has never abated amongst our members and we continue to be here to meet those needs. BSAVA was established by an eager group of volunteers and today volunteers continue to shape and inform the work of the association from the Board of Trustees to the committees and throughout the regional network.
Volunteers and staff share our passion: well informed, skilful vets and nurses improving small animal veterinary practice and the health and welfare of animals in their care. We are committed to the veterinary community and to sharing knowledge and best practice, for the advancement of the profession and small animal care.
