Organisational background

South Moor Vets is a large, independent mixed practice in beautiful South Devon. We have been practising for over 75 years and have since expanded to three busy branches within the South Hams.

Our new purpose-built Ivybridge site opened in 2018 and has since expanded to become our busiest surgery with lots of equipment such as a CT scanner, DR system, dental x-ray, ultrasound, brand new gastroscopy/rhinoscopy system, orthopaedic/spinal surgical kit and a number of certificate holders (surgery, medicine, ECC, cardiology) to support internal referrals and advice.

At South Moor Vets we put emphasis on a great work/life balance. We pride ourselves in having a supportive team both in and out of the working day. We encourage team building events such as our local yearly raft race and social events throughout the year.

Our surgeries are nestled between the stunning South West Coast of Devon and dramatic Dartmoor landscape which makes it the perfect location for a variety of outdoor activities.
