These relaxed, practical group sessions are part of the Career Lab membership or you can pay as you go. They are designed to take the stress out of CV writing and help you gain clarity on how to position yourself for your next step.

Held every month, our CV Clinics offer expert guidance and peer support—whether you are starting from scratch or refreshing your CV for a new opportunity.

We’ll cover:

  • ✅ Formatting & Layout – What to include, what to leave out, how to structure your CV clearly and how to adapt it to your goals.
  • ✅ Transferable Skills – Use our CV Menu Builder to capture skills you may be overlooking, with more detailed sessions available in the Video Vault.
  • ✅ Reading Job Adverts – Learn how to extract the key competencies from job adverts and reflect them effectively.
  • ✅ Honing Your Story – Identify your unique strengths and experiences so your CV reflects not just where you have been, but where you are going.

Want tailored feedback?

Each session includes the opportunity for one or two attendees to take the hot seat, so have your CV ready if you would like live support and constructive feedback. Career Lab members can also access one-to-one CV support.

🎓 Approximately one hour of CPD/CE per session.

📅 Runs on the last Monday of every month—check the event calendar for upcoming dates and times.

Pricing: £30 per session for non-members. Paid Career Lab members attend free—please sign in before registering so Odoo applies your £0 member price automatically.
